iwantiwantiwantiwant...

Although Chistmas is months away, gift shopping is on my mind. I'm a TERRIBLE gift giver. More often than not, I feel as though I don't put enough thought into my gifts and I'm usually not very happy with what I've chosen to give. I hope people don't mistake this for a lack of interest or care about the gift receiver. That's not the case. I'm just not that creative. And frankly, I'm not a shopper. I rarely shop. So those times when you're at a store and see something and you think, That would perfect for my mom/dad/brother/grandma/aunt/uncle/etc. Yeah, that never happens to me. So in an effort to be more personal with my gifts (and to spread the spending out a few months) I've started early with thinking about gifts for the holidays.

Which leads me to this post. In thinking about gifts for OTHER people, I've decided to first start with gifts that I want. Although most are too expensive (and being the frugal person I am, I can't imagine spendning $300 on a handbag or $100 on a pair of peeptoes) it doesn't hurt to dream. Right?

Let's start with the handbags. My knockoff Prada purse is falling apart so I've been thinking about what I'd like to get to replace it. Perhaps this or this? And I'm always a sucker for shoes. I've been dying for a pair of black peep toes but since winter is here, I'm really loving ankle boots. When they came out last season, I was not a big fan but I've been converted.

If only I could look as cute in this suit. And if I was five sizes smaller, I would totally buy up the Simply Vera line at Kohl's. (And the way it's been priced lately, I'm guessing it needs all the help it can get.

Let's not forget our outer wear or the sparkly stuff. And after being pampered on the outside, I will definitely want pampering on the inside.

Too bad Santa only visits the kids!
